Whilst my wife cooks I occasionally bake and it’s normally either bread or sticky treats.

I like the size of these silicon baking sheets as there are so wide. Just a little less then the width of the oven. So to give them a good test, I decided to make something vary sticky to bake on them.

When I make meringues I normally pipe the mixture onto grease proof paper. Once the meringues are baked they do not always come away from the paper. This means having to pick bits of paper off before they can be stored or eaten. So the test was, would the meringue release from the silicon baking sheets after baking.

As you can see from the images, success, the meringues popped straight off with no problems. Very pleased and loads more uses for these silicon baking sheets for myself and my wife.
