This Silicone Baking Mat works really well. I was not sure as to how well the mat would grip the surface of my worktop and if it would slip when kneading dough. This was not the case and the mat stayed adhered to the kitchen work surface even when I was trying to make it slip. I was very roughly kneading some dough and the mat stayed in place without moving.

It is important that you do not use metal knifes or sharp cutters on the surface of this Silicone Baking Mat as the surface can become damaged. If a plastic knife or plastic cutters were used with care, then the surface would not be damaged and the silicon mat will not be adversely effected.

It is important to roll this Silicone Baking Mat up when they are being stored. If you roll them with the working surface on the inside, then it helps to keep the working surface clean and ready to use. If you were to fold them into two or three for storage, the bottom surface of these mats can easily adhere to each other. They are then very hard to pull apart without splitting them. So always roll and this mat will last and serve you for a long time.
